MyDates IP Infringement & Takedown Policy

This Intellectual Property (IP) Infringement and Takedown Policy describes how MyDates ("We", "Us", "Our" or "Company") protects copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights across the MyDates mobile application, website, widgets, APIs, and marketing materials (collectively, the “Services”). The app does not host user-generated content that is publicly viewable; all copy, visuals, audio, and AI-generated samples are authored or licensed by the Company.

We promptly investigate good-faith reports alleging that material available through the Services infringes intellectual property rights. Confirmed infringements may lead to removal, suspension, or termination of access, as appropriate. We also keep a record of prior notices to identify repeat offenders.

3. Reporting Company-Created Content

If you are the rights holder (or authorized to act on their behalf) and believe that imagery, sound, copywriting, video, or any other Company-created content within MyDates infringes your rights, please submit a written notice containing the following:

  1. Your full name, company (if applicable), mailing address, phone number, and email address.
  2. A description of the protected work or mark you believe has been infringed, including registration numbers when available.
  3. The exact location of the allegedly infringing MyDates asset (for example, homepage images, in-app illustration, marketing video timestamp, or file reference).
  4. A statement explaining why the use is unauthorized under applicable law.
  5. A declaration, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized agent.
  6. Your electronic or physical signature.

4. Review and Takedown Process

  1. Acknowledgment: We confirm receipt of your notice within 7 business days.
  2. Assessment: Our legal/compliance team evaluates whether the claim is complete and plausible.
  3. Action: We may temporarily disable or replace the questioned asset while reviewing the claim. If the claim is validated, we remove the infringing material and provide written confirmation to the reporter.

5. Requests for Asset Ownership Details

Licensors, stock libraries, and creators can contact us to verify how a specific image, video, font, or audio file is used inside MyDates. Please include file references, SKU numbers, or sample frames to help us respond quickly. Where licensing terms permit, we share proof of purchase, usage rights, or replacement timelines.

6. Misuse of the Takedown Process

Submitting fraudulent or bad-faith notices may lead to legal liability and suspension of access to our reporting channels. Please ensure every claim is accurate and supported by applicable law.

7. Relationship to Other Policies

This policy operates alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The Terms describe user obligations and acceptable use, while the Privacy Policy explains how personal data is used when processing takedown requests. Please review those documents for complementary requirements.
