Welcome to MyDates ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application MyDates (the "App"), our website (the "Site"), and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, which govern your use of the App, Site, and Services.

• "Services" refers to the MyDates mobile application, our website, and all related features, functionality, and services, including but not limited to birthday and event management, notifications, widgets, data export/import, holiday database access, AI bot services, third-party integrations, and video/image services.
• "Site" refers to our website and any web-based interfaces or pages that provide access to or information about the MyDates application and services.
• "App" refers to the MyDates mobile application available on mobile devices.

This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through the Services, Site, and App, whether provided directly by you or automatically collected during your use of our services.

By clicking the "accept", "ok" or similar button or by downloading, installing or using the App, Service or Site, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, and to our processing of Personal Data (also referred to as Personal Information in some jurisdictions) for the purposes described herein. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Service, you may not use the App, Service or Site.

We collect information that you provide directly to us and information that is automatically collected when you use the Services. The types of information we collect include Personal Data and other data as described below.

B. Backup on Google Drive

• Personal Data Collected: Events' titles, events' dates, events' notes

C. Access to User's Calendar

• Purpose: MyDates database filling
• Personal Data Collected: Events' titles, events' dates

D. Access to User's Contacts (Address Book)

• Purpose: MyDates database filling
• Personal Data Collected: Events' titles, events' dates

E. Push Notifications

• Purpose: Informing users about events and reminders
• Personal Data Collected: Device tokens for notification delivery

F. Local Storage

• Purpose: Database storage
• Personal Data Collected: Events' titles, events' dates, events' notes

G. Unique Device Identification

• Purpose: User identification
• Personal Data Collected: Unique device identification (UID)

H. MyDates AI Bot

• Purpose: Generation of text content
• Personal Data Collected: Event title, event date, language preferences

I. IP Infringement Reports & Licensor Inquiries

• Purpose: Investigating alleged intellectual property violations, verifying licensing rights, and responding to takedown/ownership requests
• Personal Data Collected: Reporter or licensor name, company, postal address, phone number, email address, asset descriptions, ownership declarations, and any materials supplied as evidence (including signatures)

3.2 App Log-Files and Other Tracking Technologies

We may collect limited information from your device in order to provide the App and its related services. Such information may include your device type, device id, and date and time stamps of App use. In addition, we may deploy log-files and tracking technologies within the App to help us gather aggregate statistics, but we will not use Personal Data for such purposes.

3.3 Site Cookies, Log-Files and Tracking Technologies

Our Sites may utilize "cookies" (please refer to our Cookie Policy), log-files, and other tracking technologies. A "cookie" is a small text file that may be used, for example, to collect information about Site activity. • Create and manage your MyDates account
• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Populate your MyDates database with events from your calendar and contacts
• Send you push notifications about events and reminders
• Generate text content using our AI Bot feature
• Create and manage backups of your App's data on Google Drive
• Identify your device for security and authentication purposes
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

4.2 Advertisements

In order for us to present you with Ads that may be of greater interest and tailored to you and your upcoming events, we may utilize your Personal Data to do so, but we do not share this Personal Data with third-party advertisers.

4.3 Intellectual Property Enforcement

Information submitted through IP infringement notices or licensing inquiries is used to authenticate the requester, evaluate the claim, communicate status updates, and maintain compliance records. We may combine these submissions with existing account or licensing data to determine ownership, fulfill legal obligations, and document our response history.

5.1 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your Personal Data (also referred to as Personal Information in some jurisdictions), including:

If you choose not to provide the Personal Data we request, you may still use the App and Site, but you may be unable to access certain programs and services that involve our interaction with you.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your Personal Data in the following circumstances:

6.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We share Personal Data with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf:

• Google LLC: For OAuth authentication and Google Drive backup services
• Hostinger UK Limited: For infrastructure hosting and data storage. Our infrastructure is hosted by Hostinger UK Limited (6 Lloyds Avenue Suite 4CL London, England EC3N 3AX), a UK private limited company. Your Personal Data may be stored and processed on servers located in facilities managed by Hostinger.

6.2 App Add-ons

The App may include the option to purchase certain enhanced features or functionalities for the App. We use the tools, software or services of third party service providers to process transactions on our behalf. You acknowledge and agree to review and be bound by the terms of use and privacy policy of those third party service providers.

6.3 Collection of Information by Third Party Sites

We may use a reputable third party to present or serve advertisements that you may see on the App and Site. These third party ad servers may use cookies, web beacons, clear gifs or similar technologies to help present such advertisements, and to help measure and research the advertisements' effectiveness. The use of these technologies by these third party ad servers is subject to their own privacy policies and is not covered by our Privacy Policy.

6.4 International Data Transfers

Your Personal Data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using the App, Service or Site, you consent to the transfer of your Personal Data to these countries. We ensure that all international data transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including implementing appropriate safeguards where required.

6.5 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

6.6 Merger, Sale or Bankruptcy

Documentation relating to IP infringement reports or licensing inquiries is stored for the duration needed to resolve the claim and to comply with legal recordkeeping obligations.

9. Children's Privacy

MyDates is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.

10. Links to Other Sites

The App and Site may contain links to third party websites that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other third party websites, and you visit them at your own risk.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change this Privacy Policy at any time, which change will be effective ten (10) days following posting the revised Privacy Policy on the relevant Site or other reasonable means to notify you such as a push notification through the App. Your continued use of the App, Service or Site ten (10) days following such posting or notice means you accept those changes.
